Nicole's Weekly Update #5

As I sit here on Sunday, off and running on a new project (a new series that I'm super excited about), I've been reflecting back on the past week, wondering where in the world the time went.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday were spent working (my full time job) while Thursday I spent cooking and enjoying the day with my family. Friday while my husband had to work, I spent a good fifteen hours writing. I know, crazy, huh? But it was thrilling for me. Saturday I spent most of the day writing, sending the hubby to conquer the grocery store all by himself while I selfishly used several hours to write some more. Saturday night, I spent some time with two of our best friends, laughing, joking, and having a good time (I miss spending time with them). And Sunday - today - I've once again been writing along with my dedicated Sunday afternoon nap.

So as I sit here now, taking a break from my latest project, I find myself nervous about venturing down this new path and wondering what my readers will think. I've been blessed with the Club Destiny series and the outpouring of support and love from readers everywhere. It's amazing and humbling all at the same time. I still can't believe it's real. While I'm still working on additional books in the Club Destiny series - Seduction is complete and off to editing (read an excerpt if you haven't yet); Dylan's got a story to tell, but I'm not there yet; and Kane and Lucie wanted me to share their story -  my mind has recently conjured up a slew of hot alpha males who've struck my fancy. (Seriously... HOT!) So look for some excerpts soon from the new series.

Then I start to think about what the near future will bring. We've got more holidays coming up that I'm looking forward to with my family and friends. I'll be stealing as many hours every day to work on my books, doing what I love and counting down the days until I can venture down this great new path on a full time basis!

Hope you have a phenomenal week, recover from the few days off (hopefully everyone had a couple at least) and any of the crazy Black Friday shopping that you dared to do.
