Donation for Mental Health Awareness!

We are heading into the home stretch, the month of May is almost over. I want to send a reminder that I am donating a portion of the proceeds from all of my Club Destiny books as well as Chasing Dreams (DB,#1) to the Keith Milano Memorial Fund, benefiting the AFSP.

Last year, with your help, Colt and I were able to donate $10,000 to the Keith Milano Memorial Fund. I want to beat that this year. This can be done! We can get there, but we need a big push.

How can you help? Share this message! Share on Facebook, Tweet about it, +1 it on Google, send an email, tell a neighbor, call a friend. Let's get the word out! The more people who know, the more money we will raise!

How about this... I'm going to give you some incentive to spread the word. I'm going to do a giveaway. When the month is over, I will select 10 winners - each will receive one signed copy of any book from my Club Destiny series - winner's choice. On top of that, I'll select one winner to receive a $50 Amazon gift card!

Brenda Rothert has so generously included a $25 Amazon Gift Card as well as winner's choice of 1 signed book from any of her books. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you, Brenda! This is awesome!

All you have to do is share the message below on Facebook, Twitter or Google +! Then go to the Rafflecopter and enter - provide the link to your shared message.  YOU CAN DO THIS ONCE A DAY FOR MORE CHANCES TO WIN!

Message to be shared, tweeted, etc:

Support #mentalhealthawareness, I do. Find your next read and donate to a good cause. #IsupportMentalHealthAwareness

You can do a variation of this message, but it needs to include the following to count: #IsupportMentalHealthAwareness

You can read my important announcement that I made back in April regarding this effort. I want to thank everyone who has shared their story, sent me a message, and purchased a book to help. This is what it is about. Let's raise awareness.

You can learn more about the Keith Milano Memorial Fund which benefits the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention below as well as going to

The Keith Milano Memorial Fund was established to help raise awareness about the devastating and deadly disease that is mental illness. Keith’s spirit and laughter is kept alive through our efforts to increase awareness about mental illness and to raise money for education and imperative research. Keith often struggled with society’s perception of mental illness. Our hope is that by having the strength to say that Keith was “Bipolar” we can strip away the stigma and help others to be more open about their disease.

The Keith Milano Memorial Fund benefits the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).

AFSP is the only national not-for-profit organization exclusively dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research and education, and to reaching out to people with mood disorders and those affected by suicide.

AFSP is a fully accredited 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization incorporated in the state of Delaware with primary offices in New York City. Federal tax ID # is 13-3393329. AFSP's Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) number is 10545. All donations to AFSP are tax deductible.
